Crazy winter winds ("Santa Ana winds")

This is another short video, showing much stronger winds. This will give you an idea of the winds we get in the fall and winter. They're called "Santa Ana winds," but that's not really a correct name because they can happen anywhere in California and have nothing to do with Santa Ana. The wind can get brutal here, and can uproot trees, rip shingles off roofs, and send trash cans rolling down the street. I don't like to drive in this, because I've had stuff fly into my windshield. I don't like walking in it either, because I've been hit in the head by flying branches and palm fronds before!
