  • DOes the weight of the dumbbell has to be light?

    Mine is 20lbs each.

  • 20lbs is my max. If you can do it, go for it. Thats no joke 20lbs.

  • Who is this workout aimed at?

  • This is a full body all planes 'sprint' if you do it all out you will be gasping for air it is so hard. It should take you no less than 1 min 30 sec to complete 1 set and if you can do 3 then you are going to get 3 bouts of maximal effort. So it is for anyone who wants to pummel themselves with a very high heart rate.

  • Listen... 'kind of gay' instead of lame-o comments and lousy advice, post a video of you doing the dumbbell matrix for 3 sets less than 1min 30sec each set and then we will talk about 'kind of gay' and your other 'he-man work out' alternatives...

  • Nice work out. Will definitely be working this into the week.

  • Great workout. I can't wait to try it. It's a great workout for athletes who want to work on their strength conditioning. Or really anyone who wants to improve practical condition. Movements you use everyday in your life. I do MMA and this is the closest thing I can do excersise wise that translates to the ring besides sparring. Thanks for posting!

  • kind of gay...using a 10 lb dumbell..seems more like a cardio routine than anything.

you better off doing dumbbell clean and press with a 70 lb for 12 reps to get a real he-man work out.
