Jardine Side Cut slip-on exhaust on my 2007 Yamaha V-Star 1100. I chose the side cuts so I could blow it in the faces of the cars next to me and the people walking alongside the road. Needless to say, I have pissed some people off and scared the #&%$ out of several more!

  • the sound was stupid man, shit.

  • LOL, kids. You feel better now?

  • Lol! No, just a cheap video camera with bad sound quality. Only picks up the higher frequency sounds.

  • Nice ride man. I'm hoping to buy an 1100 V-Star in the next few days -- can't wait -- first bike.

    Ride safe!

  • Thanks man! I love my bike, it's loud, reliable, economical. Well worth the investment. I would definately recommend this bike to anyone who wants a beefy, torque'y, slammin' bike and doesn't want to throw out $16k - 21K for a beautiful Harley.

  • Hey sledge, just bought some Jardine slashcuts for my 1100 Dragstar too.Did you need to re-jet?I was told there's no need to with Jardines on cruisers.Kev.

  • No need to re-jet when you use the slip-ons. If you run new pipes all of the way from the barrels back, then you must re-jet.

  • sounds like a half cut-off prick dildo; embarrassing audio, looks good though.

  • you sure you dont have a plug wire off? sounds like the briggs motor on my lawnmower!

  • Hello,

I have a 05' V-Star 1100 Silverado Classic - it looks awesome, but it growls more than roars. If I buy the slip-on pipes, will that alone, make it pretty mean sounding like yours?

Also, did you remove the AIS pump? Did you have to re-jet? What all did you do? I'm asking because, if I can make my bike sound as good as yours by just buying some slip-ons for $200-$300, I will buy them today.

  • many thanks for taking the time to reply,I appreciate it.Ride safe bud,Kev.
