I hope it will be cheap enough for poor people to buy and use.

Its cool but when can you actually purchase the film? It's no good if I can't buy it.

Yeah mate- I'm waiting for this product to come out. It should revolutionize the world ! Probably they are still in the patenting process for home use .

You are so right ssssaaafff! For instance, nanosolar has a press which can print a gigawatt of solar panels per year. I recently received notice they are not going to sell to individuals as that does 'not scale up well'?

They have contracts with German and French companies exclusively, and will only print 12 megawatts of a potential 1000 megawatts with the plant in the US! They are building plants in Europe now and as usual, the free enterprising Americans will be shut out!

This is to be used for the moon /mars missions and deep space probing/satellites. Uses of up-to-date green technology for a moon base with a satellite commutation hub and transportation port; Earth to moon to colonizing mars facilities, vies versa. It will make easy for set up, then to explore for resources first. Its to integrate on the ISS and space modules; it would be hard to place a gas station in space! And, means less rocket fuel. Figuring everyone is throwing out ideas, here is mine.

I don't like to be pessimistic but in my 58 yrs I have seen so many promised energy devices that could free man that have never happen. Can one imagine with a water from air machine like the Skywater 300, a electric car and bike, a 3d jet printer to make many of your household needs from, one could produce any where in the world including the desert most all they need. One could grow all their food in a drip feed greenhouses. All it takes is cheap energy. But then how would we be controlled

Again it's all useless to the average person, we can't buy these because it would put the utilities out business. If every home had 10000 watts of these cells they would power all their home needs and 90% of their transportation thus making the oil and utility companies useless. They will never allow this. What a joke, i will never see these at Home Depot. Curious, are these panels EMP proof or will they fry out from a nuclear blast a hundred miles above them in outer space?

Nanosolar has no intent on selling these to the general public. They only want to sell to government agencies and utility companies.
They pretend they want to sell them to homeowners so they can get as many investors as they can.
Your best bet is scratch and dent silicon cells from wherever you can find them.

world talk about bring green and human still think of making money for they own... its sad by reading ur line that they not selling it... i wanted it so badly for my home but its so dam expensive i cant have one unless cost are drop coz i wanted to have 20 kv one and u can imagine how expensive it is for it have.. i wish some one in the world come out at lower cost and we can buy it... right now i am upset...
