  • i'm a spy.

i steal your laptop, you bricked it but i have extracted the hard disk from it and connected it to my pc. the laptop itself ? i think i gave it to some hobo on a random street's corner.

  • All it takes to defeat this is to change CPU's on the motherboard.

  • @neshi3 *cough* Office of Cyberspace Policy, Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 *cough*

  • @Agronymous bruteforcing will be much faster with sandybridge :)

  • @dingumfCallofDuty AMD is reviving the FX series processors. FX was known for the HIGHEST performance processors back in the old pentium 4 days. It was shut down due to core 2 EXTREME processor release, but after sandy bridge was released, they said they were reviving the FX, thats quite a big hint that they have something BIG cooking up in their labs. 4 moduals/ 8 cores will beat i think anything intel has to offer till maybe ivy bridge which is in the waay future.

  • @TheCompyshop you really think anything from amd will beat sandybridge? more cores doesn't mean crap. it's just like the megahertz myth.

  • THE NUMBER OF JELLY INTELBOTNET WEEBOS IN DELICIOUS

  • @dingumfCallofDuty this wont last long, bulldozer is due in a small handful of months.

  • Right, I am definitely sticking with my LGA1366 for quite a while. Yes, yes, I know desktop Sandies don't have killswitches, but I do not want to support a product line that promotes killswitches and DRM.
