Pakistanis didn't appreciate Javed Miandad the right way. Miandad is a legandary player.. and he suffered racism from pcb etc. We should support our best players no matter where they're from. Now look at the curse of breaking a sincere person's heart.. Pakistan badly needs a legendary batsman but can't get one; then other players get caught with match & spot fixing shamefully. We need to support the good wherever in Pakistan he may be from.-only then we'll have the best of the best rise up

I loved to watch Miandad batting, and I am English!
Great character, who did not suffer fools easily.
I used to play in North Kent League in 1980's , and we played a couple of Pakistani sides from London every year.
I can tell you, they were as we used to say about the teams we liked to play,
"a bloody good bunch of lads!"
And very sportsmanlike
