  • I have a bike that looks like 3:11...does that say "ace" on the front Ace arnold schwinn if so what's the name and year of bike please...love this video

  • @thekatna That bicycle is a 1950s Schwinn "Hornet" model. "Arnold" was the last name of an investor in the Schwinn company. In 1968 or thereabouts the company became known as "The Schwinn Bicycle Company", and the Arnold name was dropped. Thank you for watching.

  • Yes I was wondering about the blue and creme bike at 2:54 in the video. My brother has one just like it except its red and creme. We think its a 1946 but not sure of name or model of bike. If you know what it is we would sure like to know! thanks elbboww

  • @elbboww It is a Schwinn "Autocycle" Thank you for watching.

  • I am sorry Jim, it's the bike after that. I guess it starts at 2:55 in the video. The one my brother has is with the plane and train emblem. Thanks for responding! elbboww

  • @elbboww Hello, Same answer as before. I think they are both autocycles. I have the exact same bike in red in my collection but it is a B.F. Goodrich made by Schwinn and it is called a "Challenger". Regards, Jim

  • Black Phantom FTW!! 3:24

  • very nice vid!!!

  • Ive been working in bike shops for 30 yrs.

Schwinn by far is the best built bike ever made.

my personal favorite is the Black Phantom.

Though not as old as some,

it has all the good stuff!

  • Awesome funkadelic audio on this Slide Show....

  • Great schwinns I just bought a new Schwinn Delmar, I just found out they haven't been made in the USA for sometime now.I'm thinking of getting a second bike either a classic Schwinn or I also saw a company called Worksman that says there still made in the USA.
