First of all, one of the greatest songs ever! Secondly, he himself admits that he easily gets distracted and forgets what he's doing. Probably has something to do with his ADD. And I don't think he sits at home playing this on his stereo over and over. Besides, it's charming when he get's lost. Like someone said. It's rock-n-roll, kids.
TBH I found it funny in a charming kind of way, the way he just shrugged and openly faced up to the fact that he fucked up. Id rather than than he got pissed and started all over. The Mats were nowhere near perfect, and they never claimed to be.
he's like, "oh damn! i forgot the words? Anywhere is better than here!! Anywhere is better than here!" i mean, Alex Chilton! Stash in St Marx Sqaure! Ah screw it!
modesteinissy, obviously. i've seen him to do it repeatedly live. but Left of the Dial?! c'mon. it's not like i'm asking the cat to remember gary's got a boner. i like the guy, but how do you forget the lyrics to Left of the Dial. i don't think Mccartney is butchering Let it Be
Yeah. But sometimes playing your mind wanders and you forget where and when you are. Espicially I'll bet after playing a song for the 9 millionth time. Still, lol. Kinda punk innit?
