  • hi my pupa after about 3 days in pupa form i find a liltle thing right next to it do u know what it is??

  • @kenny2498 What did it look like?

  • how do i get the worms to turn into pupa?

  • @ildj08 Just leave em a week, mine always turn into pupae even when im not breeding them

  • @HordeFTL ok when you mean leave them do you mean put them into a separate container w/o any food or just leave 'em there? b/c i've tried leaving them in the container where i gut load them and they still don't turn, they're already starting to get to the age of a giant mealie. or could it be the fact that i bought giant mealies and they in turn morphed and became beetles and so the process began?

  • @ildj08 its best to put pupae into a separate container as mealworms are known to bite the pupae, you don't need food with the pupae as they can't eat

  • @ildj08 Yeah you should let them be, starving them wouldn't help try and put at least a few slices of carrot/potatoe/green leaves in there, they should turn to pupae after a few days

  • The beetles arent breeding, i havnt gotten baby worms in a really long time

  • @HordeFTL oh ok thanks man

  • @HordeFTL ya i know that but i was asking and wondering how to get the worms to morph into pupa faster. do i just put them into a container while they're still worms and basically starve them until they change b/c lack of a food source, or do i just let them be?
