I like staphen king, but I do think that the first dark tower book is boring. I liked the green mile, myself, because it was easy to read and reminded me of john steinvbecks depression era novel of mice and men. I do hope the dark tower picks up and becomes more exiting in book 2.

@AEF091 Second book in the dark tower series The Drawing of the Three, is much better. I do like the first book, but I can understand why some people might not like it. The Drawing of the Three is really where the series picks up, I had a review up for The Drawing of the Three as well. I also read the third and forth dark tower books, The Waste Lands and Wizard and Glass. I have not yet gotta around to reviewing those books yet, but I will say that Wizard and Glass is my favorite in the series.
