92' Explorer w/ 2 15" L7's, Kinetik Battery, & Hifonics Super Class-D Monoblock amp

This is my new (old) Explorer, I had the taurus before, I just traded my 12's in the old videos for these brand new 15" L7's, same amp, I just put in 4 gauge wiring and a Kinetik HC-600 battery, its supposedly equal to 100-1 Farad caps, but in my opinion sucks ass because my lights dimmed just as much w/o it. I finally have a good sealed box too, soon im getting a custom made one to fil the whole back of the truck up.

sad thing is, subs are barely moving, that amp is at best, enough power for 1 L7 sub. Also you gain is obviously set to high as your amp is bumping as hard as it is barely turned up, you probably maxed it out thinking its a volume knob.

@grandam88 Cant compare subs "loudness" on camera. Any little bass distorts the mic. This was 3 years ago now, ive upgraded amps, box and wiring. Dont insult the way my amps are tuned either. The gain was NOT all the way up, nor has it ever been. And no, I dont think its a "volume knob"

@delvinmacmillen18 Well I my amps pushin like 3600 watts and with no Kinetik batt, the volts would drop like crazy, but with the battery its not too bad, this model battery is only fo rlike up to 800 watt amps or somehting like that but I can tell you its helped SO much and still works like a champ.

Do you have a stock alternator? How were your voltage drops with the battery? What volts are you at bumping like this? I just bought a new Rockford Fosgate amp and its a beast but its killing my system on some songs it goes down to 10 volts... :O!!

Ive been looking to get a new alternator but the kinetic batteries seem pretty damn good too

@BigTwoSevenKills Not on that Explorer, I have a new (to me) 2000 Limited V8 that im gonna be doing some serious work on when it gets warmer outside. It would be way to hard to run 0 gauge wires when its this cold lol
