Preach on, my friend!!! New Jack Swing was REAL music back in the late 80s-early 90s. I was in junior high in 1989. Back in 1989, my father took me and my older brother to the New Jack Swing concert. Three Times Dope, The Boys, Kool Moe Dee, Guy, Heavy D and the Boyz, and MC Hammer was there. I had the time of my life. That concert was live!!!! Pure New Jack Swing!!!!!! I miss those days!!!!!!

R. Kelly loved Aaron Hall!! Since 89 he wanted to be Aaron Hall, following that nigga for real!! Remember he shaved his head bald like Aaron in the 90's? Check out Aaron Hall's "Let's make love" video, then look at R. Kelly's "I can't sleep" video. That nigga was obsessed!! I think if Aaron had an album coming out and his single was bangin' on the radio, kelly would slit his wrist lol.... Seriously he couldn't handle it, Aaron sings and looks better than him.

That was the night they came in 2nd place, missing was Vince Walker and Shawneth Brooks with their car breaking down, a week later they won 1st prize.

I have the two hours long show on DVD and R.Kelly came in 1th Place Deborah Harris came in 2nd Place the September 17, 1989 show. On the July 16, 1989 M.G.M. without R.Kelly came in 2nd Place. the singing group came in 1th Place .Vince and Shawn in a car accident on that show
