@grabir01 If you watch, he didn't really launch it at all. Just kinda let the clutch out and rode it down the track. It's my buddy's old man taking his bike for a spin. With a launch, it runs quite a bit quicker.

@chowhound3 Gleason took the VMax to 10.8 int he 1/4. Gleason also did something in the higher 10.8's and a 10.92 pass. That's splitting hairs. With your average Joes off the street that tenth isn't going to make a difference. It's all going to come down to the rider.

@nicconley Working towards low 11s, The bike is a lot of work but so much fun.

I've driven a lot of bikes the magna is a monster and can still compete.

I love the looks I get after spending an evening eating GSXrs, R1s and screaming eagles with a stock 1100 and cruising home on it.

Yeah, the V4 is a bit low on torque down low, so the twins can shoot ahead, but once those Magnas swing past 5000, its all over. They are awesome from 5500 to 9000 rpm. Jay Gleason got an 83 to run 10.86 @ 126 stock. Thats impressive enough to humble even alot of sport bikes. It may not beat them, but will sure earn some respect!
