@sethmanrockandroll David Allen did pitch King Kong to Hammer Studios, but this Kong is original to the commercial.

If you don't mind, may I ask where you found this? I've seen it before except it was on a documentary.

This version came off the Criterion Collection DVD of EQUINOX, released in 2006. I highly recommend the DVD. I also acquired a 16mm version off eBay. It looks great on a big screen!
