Anyone knows the name of that song?
-
yup yur exactly corretc~
-
yeah its a myth that napoleon was short, he was actually 5 feet and 6.5 inches tall, taller than the average european of the time
-
I don't think any1 was in the car lol
-
The music is eerily similar to "The Damned"'s version of "JET BOY, JET GIRL". At least that is what it reminds me of.
-
The song was created just for the commercial. But if Plastic Bertrand aren't getting royalties for it, they're being ripped off...
-
What matters is the stereotype, and they are mocking that ;)
-
ha, when i first saw this i couldn't stop laughing!! awesome commercial. and DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT SONG THIS IS?? i love it!!

In which case the ad is stupid and misinformed. The troll about Napoleon being short is a fantasy based on inability to convert between European and British units of length. Napoleon was a fair bit taller than the average of his day, and would be about average size for a European today (hence, also taller than most of the world's population).

Im pretty sure the real point of this ad is to suggest the reason napoleon always had his hand in his coat pocket in all of his portraits was because he was hiding a garmin.
