The money should be put into research only and not selling wind and solar projects to replace coal/natural gas power plants.

Cap and trade is promoted as trying to help the economy go "green". It's been in place in Europe, and it doesn't work there: no good results for all the money spent. Cap and Trade is just another tax source for the government to grow itself and waste our money. You get what you vote for. All the long standing multi-term porkers need to be VOTED OUT.
