Why is The Dark Knight so popular?

The reason for The Dark Knight's popularity. No, I don't like this film.

I don't see how this licking of the lips made the Dark Knight bad. I could easily say the way Anthony Hopkins smiles in the Silence of the Lambs makes the film bad, but yet again both actors won Oscars. You're missing something, my friend.

Personally I loved the movie but this is hilarious! Something to consider, maybe the Joker as a character has this as a sort of tick. Maybe from the nerve damage caused by the scars?

The reason people liked the movie so much is because of the great directing and setup that took place. Also you could make fun of about how many times he licked his lips but in the end he nailed that role better then anyone else could have. Your vid is like me making a movie about Why does every one like 300? then i would show sweaty abs the whole time. Not the real reason and in the end it was just good.
