This is an edit (with annotations!) of a very intense thunderstorm that left 59,000 Vermonters without power on June 10th, 2008. I didn't get electricity back until the next day, so what you see is all natural light, the exception being a small camera light used to illuminate the porch a little.

Here are the moments of visible lightning bolts - (00:34), (01:11), (02:54), (03:57).

Remember, each second between lightning flash and thunder equals about 1000 feet between you and the lightning bolt.

All information can be found at the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory.
