  • I idle at night its my house and besides trucks dont cause all the pollution in the air its those damn cars. Ok if i have to shut off my engine at night and not sleep comfortably in my own house then all of you sorry sacks of shit that live in a house with ac should cut off your air for one night in the middle of the hot ass summer heat then you will see how it is not to idle

  • oh man I wish i could ride in such a truck through US, this is my dream :)

  • Cool! Thats the way I think about trucking in USA! Lets change for some weeks! But I dont think you want to work at german highways..

  • @AnotherSchmoe 20-30 miles - that's 10-15 litres of oil! I'm not talking about pollution, but wasting 75PLN every night instead installing proper heating system costing fraction of that to operate... Asd I've just calculatet it would cost 1500PLN/month (20 days in cab), that's about twice to triple as much as we pay to heat up our house during winter when we often have -10 to -20 degrees celsius. Heating system (new) would pay for itself in few months, used one in one month...

  • @mibars

It doesn't burn much. I'm not a truck driver but I remember reading that an entire night sleeping with the truck idling burns about the same amount of fuel as driving it for 20-30 miles (which is an extremely short distance for truck drivers). Semis are a teeny tiny drop in the well that is automobile pollution. Most of it comes from 4 wheel vehicles (there are so many).

  • @gerardo92506 Hi I want to drive truck cn u help me..i am an Indian..Wht is d precess of being a truck driver??CN u pls help..

  • @YoungBloodTrucker Besides they don't burn jack when they idle, I forgot exactly how much gas a diesel engine burns when it idles but its literally next to nothing. It also burns cleaner and more efficiently than normal gasoline...
