Rolling right along at 79mph and with a perfect RS5T, Arizona and Eastern E8A #6070 leads the High Iron passenger special through the small village of Manteno.

  • The RS5T is an ex. Conrail horn if you didn't know. Heard that somewhere on youtube.

  • @PereMarquette1223 The RS5T was used on many different railroads, including the CNW to which this unit was built as. Conrail's main horn was the RS3L, but they also used P5's, RS5T's, and K5LA's on some units, especially later in their lifespan.

  • @IMRROcom It was in New York all this summer. The Company that owns this engine does not own the Arizona Eastern anymore. It was transfered to another operation of their's in New York called the Saratoga and North Creek. Worked there most of the summer. Left 2 weeks ago for this special.
