Hey, do both laptops have to be using the same network in order to connect them? and is the IP address you put in the Chicken of the VNC the same IP address of the computer i want to control?

Thank you for the vid. Can't help to lol on your comment that "this is strange" when you were going to remote control your own desktop. But overall it's a nice presentation. I'm going to try it with a Lion server
@misha8998 No, both laptops (in your case) does not have to be on the same network. And Yes, usually the IP address supplied for VNC client is that of the one we want to control.

Hi,
Anyone know how can I share my mac book pro with my mac pro. At the moment I am in NewZealand and my Mac Pro is in UK. I used to share my both computer in UK in same network but I don't know how can I share with different network. Please help me.

@harvestcreativemedia This has something to do with your network setting. May be you connect the internet through a router, then you need to configure "port forwarding" in order to achieve the connection over the Internet. There are plenty of tutorial on this matter.
