The Zune and the iPod Touch/iPhone are completely different things. It isn't very fair to compare them.

unfortunately...the whole zune line is now RIP. Microsoft quit making them and said they will use the zune software for other stuff. I honestly cant verify that but it does seem true. It sucks though cause I liked both ipod and zune but zune's drm stuff was holding them back. No option to just buy what I want in like a regular store like itunes has or just normal storefront. Also no drm free music. But RIP zune. Ea origin will be joining it soon

the Sony walkman is way better and prolly holds more memory ( i had one back in 2008 or 09 that held 8 gigs of memory and i only bought it for 89.99) but i got rid of it a couple months ago because i upgraded to a MyTOUCH 4G which has a bigger SD card.. i had a zune b4 and then i upgraded to the sony walkman, and from what i can tell, the walkman has a better graphical engine (i think thats what u'd call it lol) than the Zune and they BOTH ha FM radio. but the walkman is much more sleek and betr

the zune doesnt get enough credit for having one of the best internal amp. its a good thing for people who want their music to sound good

those are good enough reasons, I am getting the Zune HD.

the ipod classic i got had an irresponsive LCD and it was financially impractical to get it fixed once the 1 year warranty was up.

I basically ran from apple stores to apple service centers, to even looked to back-alley gadget repair shops and it was just ridiculous.

Apple store charged me $240 for a refurbished model, shady repair shops charged $80-$120 for LCD replacement (and workmanship dings).

@hkfan1980 - Mp3 is a music file format. Mp4 is a video fil format. Mp5 I THINK is a text file format.
