  • I believe it's the 22 years of experience in which she's given her heart and mind to her students that make for the qualified part.

  • Wow. For your information she is a brilliant math teacher and probably the best mathematician I've ever met. She can do stuff that I can't even do on paper in her head.

  • I suppose having a set of math equations on the blackboard behind you makes you a qualified "high school math" instructor.

  • ok i have a question for you, and i really dont mean this rude

but dont you think subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, etc. are really worth being taught? there are very few practical applications for these subjects and few jobs requiring them. would it not be a more simple solution to take them in college if the student desires a career that does demand them?

im not just picking on math, there are other wasteful subjects too. i am just asking seeing as you are a math teacher

  • wow, i go to collinsville high school. it was really cool to see this online.... :)

  • Intelligent question; video looks great, too! I'll be watching to hear the candidates answer!

  • great question, I hope it gets picked. I'm also interested in learning more about your perspective as an educator. Thanks.
