Why bother to buy a license if you are already violating Apples license by putting it on non-apple hardware?

I'm kind of a poweruser who develops lots of stuff for fun at home. Mostly I develop for the web. The OS X server gives me several neat features like automatic backup of everything, easy to use admin interface and so on.
On top of my nerdy freetime it gives me and my family a very nice way to share calenders (with iCal server), shared address books and so on. We have also attached a large external drive which we use for remote backup. So a bit of a own time capsule :)
