Pokemon Battle Revolution - Aug 7 10 A

Taking on a half Uber team was always going to be more of a challenge, especially when the team looks to have most of their weaknesses covered. To put it plain and simple "my defeat was inevitable"! There was was nothing I could have done different to better my chances here either as I followed my strategy by the book. A full NFE team is not exactly easy to compete alongside any team that posses both strong and intellectual measures.

Vaporeon is an absolute beast in every sense of the word! I should know because I have and use a bulky set of my own! Had this Vaporeon not been equipped with a Sitrus berry I probably would have stood a much better chance. Regardless of the outcome, I was very proud that I managed to knuckle down my opponent to their last Pokemon. Either way this match was still exciting and I hope you enjoy watching too =}

Yeah, this guy was definitely a VGC player rather than a n00ber. Gimmick teams are great against idiots who don't know what they're doing, but there's a reason you're not going to see a team like this one in competetive play. Nice battle, though.

@Antar1011 - I thought VGC teams use only 2 Uber's and not 3? I don't really know a lot about competitive play, which probably explains my lack of assertiveness in competitive areas.

You did way better then I would with NFEs against an Uber Rain for sure though.

Its good that the opponent took a different approach to item use as Kyogre was not scarfed and Vaporeon had no leftovers, which I encounter most of the time. I appreciate the encouragement ;-}

Amazing battle as always my friend. I can never get enough of the tykes! Sirtus berry was indeed the difference in this match, I believe it is an inderrated item for sure. You continue to inspire as always, keep up the good work m'man.

The VGCs are fast paced enough that it makes sense to use a sitrus berry over leftovers there.

personally i wish people would stop using ubers, but then again, it effectively means you won as you beat the hiegher stat ones with lower stat ones. If the stats were on a level field, you would have won for sure.

I'm wondering why did he bring two Ubers? Clearly, he really wanted this victory. He could have gone a little easier and brought only one. Still, his ideas are interesting, considering he utilizes Water Absorb to his advantage based on the pass. Ho-oh on the Rain team, I believe that is his counter for the infamous "Mewtwo and Abomasnow lead".

For the fact that he went all out, predicting very well too, you did mega well Tyler! Your Tykes should be proud to bring him down to his last pokemon.
