A married woman doesn't have to change her surname- it's optional. Keira's mother is a writer, and it's quite common for writers to use their maiden name professionally, ie, JK Rowling.

yes she is!so her parents must be divorced or they never married? I really don't know.her father's name is Will Knightley.
