What a treasure! Just the way it is. I just saw/heard Audra McDonald sing the hell out of this. She was simply...the truth. Looking for her, I stumbled upon this. He wrench my heart out of my body...the truth is the truth...even when it's just becoming so. I love you Stevie!!!
@Vincent50 That shocks me because he sounded a lot like Frankie Lymon and I don't think anyone could diss the vocal talents that kid had. Regardless he still had an unusual voice for his age, I believe they call it boy soprano.
It amazes me to hear that Berry Gordy didn't think that Stevie's voice was all that when he was a kid. I guess he just didn't want to deal with this young kid at that time and didn't have interest in his voice. But as time went by Stevie became the biggest star outside Diana/Supremes and the Jackson Five could ever be.
Everything that Michael Jackson ever knew about singing growing up as a child, he didn't learn it from Papa Joe or any of his brothers, he learned it from one of the greatest pop stars of all time, Stevie Wonder(for he was an extremely gifted child of song himself)!
Heavens to Murgatroid! What a delightful version of one of my favorite romantic ballads. And to think Lil' Stevie was only 13 when he recorded this! Amazing! What a talent! Love those strings in the song. THANKS for sharing this with us! May all your wishes & dreams come true in the New Year! :)

"Stevie Wonderful" -- I've been looking for that adjective. Thank you! Do you mind if I use that?
All the best, always,
