His voice sounds different from his singing voice. Usually that happens with some singers. Sometimes their voices don't match their singing voices. When you sing, you prep the voice and for it to make sounds you normally don't for the voice to do when talking.
I like how he sings like a God, but talks like a nerd. Maybe that's why we so much love him.
