Do you know if that burnt plastic smell goes away after use or does it stay like that. I have one and the burnt plastic smell is annoying, other then that it is great.

I did have a gray Zelda II cartridge. But I traded that in because I got a gold one that same christmas.

No, mine did not break. The system is nice but I don't like the controllers alot. The outside coverings of the cords are thin, and one of my controllers broke. Also regular NES controllers just won't work for the RES. hopefully there is an alternative system that's compatible with regular NES controllers.
