This simple cocktail recipe is not for the blended version of the Daiquiri but instead for a truly delicious rum cocktail, served up.

INGREDIENTS:
2 oz Dark rum
1 oz Fresh lime juice
1 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
Garnish: Lime wheel
Glass: Martini

    I found the Daiquiri to be more susceptible to ratios than other sours. Also I think the quality of the rum makes a big difference in the taste of the Daiquiri. I love using El Dorado 3 year in mine.

    Yes you can, I always use 1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar instead of simple syrup to reduce the dilution.

    for this cocktail, can you replace the simple syrup for just cane sugar? and then maybe add more rum or lime juice
