  • @horshooer if you notice the horses in this video have leather halters on and if a certain amount of pressure is applied they snap ... its the ones that are made of nylon that don't snap. and i am sure the breeders know what they are doing as these horses must be valuable as they might be the next top racehorses :)

  • @Stonestare Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama

  • How stupid do you have to be to leave a halter on a horse in a pasture?? You only have to see a horse reach a back foot up to scratch its ear one time to see how dangerous this is...

  • Is that little zenyatta? 2:18-2:29

  • aww they should be racing this year huh? how are they doing?

  • great video

    Who does the tune?

    Terry Reid?

  • thats what i think, but not all people feel that way..

they typically race a horse at 2 i think, and horses dont stop growing until they are 5. there for if the slightest thing happens, such as tripping, their bones r very fragile and can break easily because they arent fully developed... and yeah owners have been known to "throw away" a horse if they arent fast enough, not competitive, etc. luckily there are many people searching for off track thoroughbreds:)

    sorry for the long explanation!

  • cute! i hope they have a safe and awesome racing future!

  • I've been told by a horse-oriented friend that the racing industry races horses at too young an age, damaging them and throwing most of them away... Any truth to that?

  • what's the song called?
