Met Alex out in Colorado in the 80's through a mutual friend. (back when he actually was a skinny little kid from Cleveland Ohio) Didn't know anything about him at the time except that he was a real down to earth guy. Started listening to Grand River Lullabye and fell in love with his music. I think my favorite cut off that album was Autumn Melody. Truly beautiful song. Wish I could find his stuff on CD.
I saw Alex for the first time at Debonne winery, and he played a song for my brother and his new wife. I bought "Fall and Angels", and love this song. I drove my wife crazy listening to it. She passed away just over 3 months ago, and it reminds me so much of our journey together. Thank you Alex.
"YOUR AH LYRICAL MADMAN, CAN'T GET ENOUGH.... SONG'S FROM AH HOLLIDAY INN , . YAH DID THAT IN TEXAS OUNCE .. NICE SOUND IN THE SAUNA, WITHOUT THE HUMIDITY OF COURSE.. KEEP THE FAITH ALEX.......... PEACE~~~~
Alex, unbelievable - puts me in the "way back" machine, and after hearing this, I felt the same as the first time I heard Rodeo Rider...mesmerized, haunting, lovely........
Alex and Tess, thanks so much, we don't get to see you live as much as we would like. This sure helps in the interlude. Beautiful music, you say what everyone feels from time to time and I than you for that.
Thank you so much for posting these videos. I'm a fan from back in the late 70's and no longer am able to see you live as I don't live in the area anymore. You sure do paint beautiful pictures with your lyrics!
