This was filmed in 1999 in a school in Northumberland, UK. It features P4C (Philosophy for Children) in action with 9 year old children with James Nottingham, their class teacher. To find out more about P4C, visit www.p4c.com or contact James Nottingham at www.sustained-success.com
Brilliant! I'm training to be a Primary Teacher at the moment and Philosophy for Children has become an integral part of our Personal Development in Education course. I'm currently writing an assignment based on the effectiveness of P4C in children's overall learning and development, and found this video really interesting and informative :)

Great video! Philosophy for children is a great idea. I have recently started studying philosophy at university, and it is fascinating- wish I had been introduced to it sooner. P4C should be compulsory.

I just started p4c in my classes. It's amazing. Philosophy should be a subject taught right through the British education system. Forget 1066. We need thinkers!!
