  • @iflydelta1101 in the winter we get 3-6 757's a day from ATL or DTW. MD-88's and 319-320's and the occasional 737 make up the majority of the mainline Delta flights. In the winter Delta 757's are routed to mostly Florida/Caribbean routes. I work in DL ops at DCA.

  • @vasiberianhusky 2002 does have VC

  • The approach was too high (I believe glideslope is 500 feet upon passing the lincoln memorial), but the landing seemed a little low (even though the PAPI said he was just right),

  • Yes lol and Delta uses MD-88's lol.

but it all depends on the number of people that are going. almost every day they get 2 757's (from Delta)

  • Really? :p When I was there the biggest there was a MD-80.

  • Yes they do.

  • They don't fly 757s to DCA.

  • What are you talking about? That approach is done all the time into DCA. It is one of the favorite approaches to fly for many Airline Pilots.

  • Wow that's an approach that would not happen post 9/11! Great flying though.

  • congratz on the landing.. I used to control DCA online for flight sim.. nobody could ever get that landing right.. you aced it.. though I think the TCH was a little low ;)
