The CULT "The Fish Incident" Part 1

From the 1989 tour with Metallica, Sept 1, 1989 - Portland, Oregon, Memorial Coliseum. Toward the end of The Cults set, some of the Metallica band/crew come onstage dressed like Ian Astbury. Hijinks ensue. Fish drop from overhead with the confetti & come flying over the backdrop (see The Cult behind the music) Ian leads the crowd in an original chant as the fish fly. From the angle this video is shot at, you can see Matt Soren stand on his drum throne to throw some back over the curtain at Metallica. Pretty crazy, and the chaos continues in Part 2.

i am a cult fan and if you had seen the cult support simple minds at ibrox stadium in 1986 you would have been shocked i seen them get booed off the stage whilst getting pelted with bottles of piss and rubbish thats rock and roll ian rolled about the stage and threatened to get his cock out for the audience .. but geing a tough glasgow audience half pissed it made them worse .. the end of the metallica show is priceless ian was seriously pissed off he didnt explode like pt2 of this video
