For our schoolproject we converted a Honda lawnmower engine so it could run on compressed air.
We modified the camshaft so we only have an intake and exhaust cycle. We used a Honda GCV 160.

  • How does it work

  • @14omega28ok We placed an extra cam right on the opposite of the original cam. Because of the new cam the compression and expansion steps were eliminated. Now we only have the intake and outlet steps. You should Google the schematics of the Honda GCV 160 to understand it well.

  • flawed, flawed, flawed let me explain

  • the main problem in these engines are they use MUCH air and give less power . so useless . try to use plasma spark and also use the compressed air .
