In this unit we convey the idea of Creation as an eternal body of changing motions that never began and will never end. The idea of Universal Mind is an ages old concept that mystics throughout time have tried to teach to mass man. In time, man will come to know his own immortality and what it means to live inside of the Mind of the Creator's one idea.

  • Meher on the independence of God,

"The entire universe is God's shadow and belongs to God, but God does not belong to the universe. God's shadow comes out of God, undergoes infinite variations and goes back into God.God's shadow depends upon God; God does not depend upon His shadow. Without God the shadow cannot exist. Without the shadow God does exist. God was when the universe was not. God is when the universe is. God will be when the universe will not be..

"It has been said that one Illuminate always recognizes another no matter what words are used." ~ Lao Russell

  • @mattpresti From what I know, science may be right about the big bang, it said by Meher Baba that after eons God withdrawls into sound sleep, just as man at night. The universe is dissolved because hte universe was being projected out of God. So illusion (the universe) may have births and deaths itself, yet it never goes out of existence. This therefore does not contradict anything said in this video which is describing reality, not illusion (the universe).

  • @soldatheero

According to Russell, the state of the Creator is eternal stillness and rest. The imaginings of the Creator are the cycle of life and death and illusion which we perceive through our senses and call reality. The state of stillness and silence is not perceivable by mass man so it is commonly thought not to exist. Yet, to an illuminate, they can see with the inner eyes what this state is which is also known as ecstasy. No big bang is required for silent stillness.

  • Ahh, the irony, a priest came up with The Big bang, that just made my day!

    We are Spiritual immortal entities!

  • @YaBaDji

  • ..Your own shadow belongs to you but you need not belong to your shadow. Your shadow necessarily clings to you, but you unnecessarily cling to your shadow. Without you your shadow cannot exist, but without your shadow you do exist.."

  • "One cycle is twelve thousand million years [12,000,000,000 – 12 billion years]. Scientists know nothing at all about cycles, but this hint will open their eyes. The evolution of THIS world began two billion years ago and evolution, which started from the nebula, will last until the completion of the cycle – when the Mahapralaya (the total dissolution of the universe) will take place. Scientists will never know when the universe began. .

  • ...The most they will be able to discover with advanced telescopes is when the last expansion of the universe took place. There have been countless Mahapralayas over the course of the universe's history." Meher Baba

  • @mattpresti Thats right, the state of the creator is the state of reality and it is devoid of attributes and empty ,yet all attributes lie latent within it. The universe is not God, the universe exists because of our sensing of it, imagination. The big bang is not the creation of existence, it is the creation of the illusion, the imagination, which as you say goes in cycles of life and death. This external universe may indeed have punctuated beginnings and endings.
