The Rockets Song Turn up the RadioThe Rockets Jim McCarty on Guitar Johnny Bee on Drums Jim Edwards Vocals Marvin Conrad Bass Video shot at Calahans Auburn Hills Mi 3-1-09 By Rick Arnett
If the vocals were more dominant it would have been sounding much better and with the drums having no mics Johnny still makes his presents know... thumbs up....
Jim and Da-Bee are tighter than Panty Hose Two Size Small.
Jimmy McCarty and The Rockets...One more band that make Detroit...Rock City!...With all of his success, he still remains a humble and down-to-earth person! Thanks Jim....Keep on Rockin!
Good job. I grew up on this music. I remember listening to WLLZ 98.7 (Detroit) waiting to hear the Rockets. Cranked up my Kraco stereo with my Sparkomatic Loud and Clear power booster (40 watts). Those were the days. Rocket Roll!
These guys were easily the biggest live act in Detroit back in the early 1980's. Thanks for the memories.
