?Visite ?icasso? is a classic documentary by dir. Paul Haesaerts which features the frequently used footage of Picasso painting on glass while a camera films him from the other side. The trick of filming thru glass allows the viewer to witness Picasso's true genius as he paints his famous Torros with just a few well-placed brushstrokes. Shot in beautiful black and white in Picasso's home in Vallauris, the film is a poetic treatment of the master-painter. This captivating film is a must see for anyone interested in art.

Picasso was a great painter from a young age who learned the realistic style from his father, but was never no Da Vinci, that's crazy talk. He was a smart 'Artist' who mad badly executed works to gain fame... One of the smartest artist ever and he knew exactly what he was doing... Read the book Art The Artist.

I was actually inspired by this old movie to film artist/mathematician Ed Belbruno painting on glass for a documentary about his life and work. It was a lot of fun, and I think the results were beautiful.

I doubt this guy is anything compare to the artists in the design industry today. They can get the perfect forms of anything they want to draw in a matter of minutes. This guy spend an hour splashing paint onto a canvas onto to end up with a mass of clown vomit. His drawings get worst as he age and people continue to suck his cock because it is Picasso. Call his drawings art if you want but it will still be shit tier work.

Picasso is way overated. His drawings are mediocre at best and his early works is nothing compare to da vinci. The man gets lazier as he age and just dab some simple shapes onto a piece of canvas and people will like it because it is painted by him. I once compared my elementary sister to his drawings and i honestly could not tell the difference.Modern art is value on the person who painted it not the quality of it.
