@CrzyGr8Fun What can i say? Your right, i mixed up two songs in my mind as i probably did with her name too! Namely mr postman -the Carpenters and this song here and the names of Karen Carpenter and Helen Shapiro! Two great songs, great singers too!!
The mind is a funny thing, connecting things that are remotely simular!!! :-)

She overcame her anorexia, but still died, because of it since her heart couldnt cope!!

@handenbinder0 This version of Mr. Sandman is from the late 1950's sung by a group known as the Chordettes. As far as I know this was never performed by the Carpenters.
The Carpenters were a brother and sister, Richard and Karen (Not Helen)... Also Karen died in 1983 of Heart Failure due to anorexia

The song is mr Sandman by the Carpenters. The Carpenters existed of two persons and one of them called Helen Carpenter died early caused by not feeding herself the way she should have coz she kept thinking she was to thick!!!
At some point she recovered, but her body gave up on her some years after recovering............
Showing a valuable lesson to especially girls who think their fat and starve themselves.....
The song however rocketed the hitlists back then!! It was famous world over!!!
