The Magnificent Men - Babe, I'm Crazy About You

The last of the "missing" Mag Men Capitol singles has finally arrived on YouTube. In an e-mail today from Dave Bupp, lead singer of The Magnificent Men, I was informed that "Babe, I'm Crazy About You" was sorely missing from the band's singles collection on YT. In Dave's own words he writes: "That is the single Billy Butler wrote for us. Billy sings backround with Buddy (King) and Tom (Pane) on this cut, too. This was produced by Carl Davis also. Because of his exclusive ties to Brunswick, he could not be listed on the record. You'll notice he takes 50% for co-writing". Recorded in Chicago in 1967, towards the end of their contract with Capitol Records. A terrific single with an equally great B-side, "Forever Together", which can also be found here on YouTube.
