Quick question. Why is it that in the CFL, the goalposts are in the front of the endzones and not deeper within the endzones? I know the endzones are huge, but I guess I just don't understand.

I know....I don't even see 100-yard passes in American football myself (well mainly because the field is 100 yards long so the longest is 99 yards).
