Dead Island Multiplayer Connection Error

I cannot connect to anyone else's game in Dead Island. My friends can join my friends but we cannot see each other (we are in exactly same part of story and standing on the same spot)

No firewall, no proxies, connected directly to modem, tried verifying steam files and reinstalling.

Nope I can't play with friends either. If I try to join a friends game I get the same error.

If friend's join my game we can speak to each other, share loot but we cannot see each other

@fngnation all you have to do is delete ur game data utility then start the game again is that correct dude ?

Can anybody help me with this glitch just happend again. Sam B was the furthest I've gotten without this glitch happening I got him to level 51 I join my freinds game and my xbox freezes I shut it off turn it back on come back on dead island and my character that I've nearly put 3 days of game time into is gone im scared to start another charater cause I thing it might happen again.

i cant see anybody in the lobby and my friend can not even join me.

and keep failing to connent to me. i cant join him to can someone help me reply plz

Same problem here. That's if I can even see them in the lobby menu and when I do connect after 8-10 tries, the game will freeze 5 min in. Can still hear everything, but the everything is frozen. Hope they fix this.

Everything about the game works perfectly fine 4 me. the game saves when it should, very few gameplay glitches. the onlything that sucks is that i cant join my friend. i can join random people online, but not my friend. it says unable to join game session or something like that. we have ps3s and we reset our ps3s and routers and it still doesnt work. we both have the latest update too. Someone please help me out

my problem is i can't join people most of the time and i can't even see the list and sometimes when i play online mt game freezes at least 5 times

@fngnation thanks but i can connnect now i chanaged to my belkin G+ and i works fine also gives me a very very good connection. :D thanks btw

Delete your game data utility. The patch is the problem and deleting this will fix it. I posted a video tutorial on my page if you do not know how to do this. Very easy, takes 2 seconds. Sync your trophies BEFORE you delete this.
