  • How are the Maxxis Zillas (not the mudzillas)?

  • @bendover646 We don't have any experience with them..But the more aggressive the tread and the greater the spacing between the lugs, the faster they will wear on the asphalt. Plus they will handle way worse on asphalt and hardpack trails.

  • I have just recently moved to a new area that has some nice riding trails but to get to the trails the people here ride on the pavement. That is very hard on the tires can you recomend a tire that will last?

  • @mrstevek118 Pavement is really hard on tires no matter what but especially if your ATV is always in 4wd. Higher pressure helps. A less aggressive tread also helps. Although we (and here comes all the hate mail!) think that Maxxis Bighorns are not a very good performing tire, they do wear very well.

  • If the diff slips more with aggressive tires could u put aggressive tires on the rear and like regular tires in the front or is the a tire the is aggressive enough to handle just about anything

  • @Derek130b Considering that there is no allowable slippage between the front and rear differentials putting considerably different tires on each end may indeed bind up the drivetrain over time.

  • @ATVTVCOM ok thanks ill give em a try

  • @killerkrab42 We used to run ITP Holeshots on our desert machines because they held up so well.

  • i have a honda trx 450er and the tires are starting to wear and im going to need new ones soon if you have any ideas i would like to hear them i do most of my riding on dirt trails on the track. i also ride in the sand/cinders with a rear paddle tires.

  • @spartacus1234567890 Wow! You're hard on tires. Or you ride in really tough terrain. The XCTs should be one of the best. We raced them in the desert and they worked great! Only suggestion I have is to swap them from side to side each ride to get better wear - and better traction.
