John Denver live in Italy - Annie's Song

John Denver sings his No 1 hit Annie's Song, with one verse in Italian, during his concert in Assisi, Italy, on 8 June 1986.

Sadly, this copy of JD's Italian concert is not complete. The film ends after 41 minutes around the middle point of Calypso, with one or possibly two songs missing. Fans will know that John often ended his performance at this point in his career with This Old Guitar and/or Perhaps Love.

One comment requests the Italian words to 'Annie's Song' that John sang in Assisi. Thanks to my good friend Giacomo, who was in the audience that evening in Assisi, here are those words:

his Italian was good here he did good. this is why the world loved him so much cus he'd go out of his way to sing to his audience in their language, the man was not given enough credit when he was still around R.I.P.
