2009 Flag City Balloon Fest Key Grab Winner

In the last 10 years of the Flag City Hot Air Balloon Festival in Findlay, Ohio, this is only the second time a balloon pilot has gotten the key. Pilots determine a launch spot a few miles away from the target, and fly at different altitudes to catch different wind directions to try to "steer" to the target. For this task, pilots had to try to throw their marker closest to the center of the X on the ground, and could try to grab the hula hoop/ring for the "Key Grab" to win $1000. This is the first time in pilot Ted Gauthier's 30+ years of flying that he has won a key grab.
