@industrialforever OK Thanks! I know what you mean about the wave being way too long on Audacity, noticed that already. There's probably a way to view a shorter wave on there. I can't find a smaller male end to my microphone jack to my computer, will have to go to Radio Shack but it's a long drive and inside a big mall when I get there but I do have a thumb drive. I'm going to figure out how to download the recording on the Korg then stick the thumb drive into my computer. We'll see how it works

Very nice! I'd like to record some music I create on my Korg Triton and put it on my computer to download for my youtube videos but don't know how. Is it easy?

@ScottTaylorRealtor Yeah, it's real easy. You just need wave recording device, I'm currently using Audacity which you can download for free. You need a way to plug your keyboard into your computer. You can run a stereo line in cable from your headphone jack into the the stereo line in on your computer or you can get a converter at radio shack or some place that connects your amp cables together like a Y-cable and plug it into your line in on the computer. hit record, play what you want

After you've recorded some stuff just take the wave file and put it in a video making program. I used windows movie maker that comes standard with windows. There are several different ways to do it and a lot better programs than the ones I used. It's easy, just research it a little online. I want to get a web-cam, so I can visually record my performances like so many others do.

@industrialforever Wow thanks!, sounds easy. I want to create my own background music for my videos so I don't have copywrite issues you know? I write lots of my own music so this should be easy enough, probably better than searching endlessly for music that doesn't fit that particular video you know? .... So this Audacity, is it easy enough to learn how to use? These techical things give me a headache. =o

@ScottTaylorRealtor Yeah it's pretty simple, but there are definitely some things about it that annoy me. Mainly how the wave are always stretched out really big on the screen. It comes with a lot of built-in editing and and fx like normalize, noise reduction and compression which is really useful. I'll have to ask my friend who also write music and edits wave files what program he was telling me is better the other day and try to get that back to you. If I don't forget that is, I'm very busy.
