  • Cool man, thanks for the info.

Do graduates leave the school with pro demo reels/portfolios?

  • Basically, third semester is all personal projects. So you spend the last couple months doing whatever you want. However hard you work in that time, determines how strong your reel is. They also teach you how to put together a really strong reel.

  • I'm thinking about applying to this school. How did you like it? Were you able to find work after graduation?

  • The school is amazing. The teachers are all really rad, and the studios are insane. As far as work out of school, I've been doing a lot of live sound gigs, and a bit of recording. Nothing too steady yet, but it's only been a few months. Check back with me in February and I'll most likely have a job. However, a good third of the class have work already.

  • shit.

  • could you elaborate?

  • @themulberrystealers I would do it again a million times over. And as far as spending the money on the gear, you will end up saving money in the end by knowing what you actually need. Also chances are you'll land a gig where you're using gear way beyond anything you could ever afford.

  • @Employee24 any updates?

  • This is really good. I hope you plan on posting more

  • nice song.. i am saving up to go to OIART...but I am afraid spending so much money, and the "state of the industry" i keep hearing about...I will never make any money and be in so much debt I'll have to switch careers anyway!

  • I feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I listen to this. A++

  • Second!!... This is gay.
