Alright Blink is probably my favorite band and I've been listening to them since I was a teenager, but comparing them to Muse is absolutely ridiculous. The genres are completely different. Matthew Bellamy is one of the greatest songwriters of our time, and while I love Blink, Muse is absolutely amazing. Both bands are one of a kind and deserve respect, but claiming that any "true" fan of either band should blindly hate on the other band is just wrong.

yeah this definitely isnt pop punk - that's like new found glory and all time low. This is more a mix of alternative and pop punk. Still a sick song. Idk why it gets me sad everytime i listen to it.

Why aren't ANY of these videos on iTunes???

You can't compare Muse and Blink, they are entirely different, Muse is apocalyptic heavy space rock, or whatever the hell you would call them, lol, and Blink is just straight punk, it's their spin, and in my opinion doesn't live up to the original at all

great band, but the song is a bit repetitive and predictable

Muse are shit you know that like god they use so many effects on their guitars. Tom uses one effect distortion Muse are no where near Blink-182. Stockholm Syndrome is some one having a passion for their capturers like shit Muse probably thought it sounded good. Any true Blink 182 fan would gladly agree with me

@jguth66 except this song is nowhere near pop punk... nice try though.

i like both muse and blink because blink got me onto music when i was younger but truth is thats really all they are is a band that gets kids into guitar based music muse is much more progressive and musical. and popularity is a shit argument because just look at the people choice awards, glee was best tv show or whatever and that show doesnt have very much substance. What im really trying to say people are too stupid to trust masses of them on their deciding power as they are all sheep

@Loxias182 You're right, the musicianship of pop punk is astounding. The one octave vocal range, coupled with an astonishingly intricate use of 3 power chords, is clearly superior to muse, and totally doesn't get boring after 30 seconds.
lol.. you cant compare muse and blink 182 both are good bands, but their two totally different
