i dont think we would necessarily be robots. more like we would be connected to the Web in an advanced way.
like right now there is glasses that can be the next smart phones currently development is for a contact lense(check it out in detail). the army is developing that tech.
Also we will be more virtual than robotic, creating a economy in a virtual city like the show CAPRICA and movie GAMER. currently there is PS Home using the genesis of that.
we will live up to 140 in 2025.

How can death be boring. You wouldn't even know you were dead unless there's an afterlife and you come back as a ghost or get reincarnated.

@odin422 It's true that with great power comes great responsibility. And that's why the current political system has to change into an more open system.
And example of such a system could be that there are two identical governments that depend on each other to take decisions and their only tool of communication can be viewed by all citizens.
I can't see any other great flaws with becoming a robot after that has happened though...

Perhaps we should begin building a culture for these ideas addressing these notions head on via the media, sitcoms, movies, cartoons, etc. on a much more mainstream level.
